Fran Lebowitz once said: ‘Life is something that happens when you can’t get to sleep.’ Well, I didn’t feel alive past days. Anyhoo, props to the pretty nurses and clever doctors at the pacific hospital. Moreover, thanks for your get-well-messages at twitter and facebook!
Today I was placed in the park a lot of kilometres away. I’m wondering for how long I’ll stay here this time. Although it rained, it felt like the sun was shining inside me. All those beautiful coloured trees and leaves. Like Camus once said: ‘autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.’
I noticed a lot of children collecting chestnuts. It remembered me of these old days when people collected my leaves and the chestnuts of the neighbour-trees to make these pretty, but freaky dolls, like above. A few years later those same children took one of my branches to use it to throw some nuts with, haha. It was pretty rude, but who cares. Didn’t really suck. At least it was put to good use!
What are your nostalgic memories to these autumn days? Let me know!
Hasta la vista!
